Nolan Swank of Edgerton worked for NWEC this past summer as an intern but has recently been hired by NWEC as a Groundman. He graduated from Edgerton and will go on to complete his four-year lineman training at the Central Ohio Lineworker Training (COLT) facility. Below is a fun little Q&A to help us introduce Nolan to our member-owners!

Why do you want to be a lineman?

“My uncle and grandpa both worked in the electrical field and showed me a lot about it. I also love the outdoors and want a trade that doesn’t go away... something I can rely on. I knew a lot about NWEC and thought it would be a good fit for me.”

Do you have any pets?

“I have a dog named Dexter.”

What is your favorite food?

“Venison backstrap. I love to hunt!”
