COMMUNICATIONS/PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERN
North Western Electric Cooperative is seeking a Communications/Public Relations Intern performing tasks in support of Marketing, Communications, and Member/Customer Service functions of the Cooperative and NW Ohio Propane. This position will assist in ensuring that all communications, public relations, and marketing objectives are met within the required deadlines. They will execute a variety of functions, including writing, editing, graphic design, public/community relations, advertising development, event planning, website and social media administration, and more.
Minimum 1 year of college completed toward a degree in communications, public relations, or a related field. Experience in a related field may be substituted. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and online services such as Canva is preferred.
