North Western Electric offers its residential and small commercial members a FREE energy audit.
Once we receive your completed form, it will be reviewed along with the past three years of your electric usage history. Then our energy advisor will contact you to schedule a convenient time to perform the energy audit. You will have two options on how the audit is performed:
- Tele-Audit - Our energy advisor will speak with you virtually (via FaceTime) and will ask you to "walk-thru" your home using your device's camera so he can view specific details of your home.
- In-Home Audit - Our energy advisor will visit your home and will analyze the structure using his specialized equipment. This visit will take approximately two hours and the homeowner must be present during the entire visit.
Typically, the FREE energy audit will consist of:
Analysis of your current electrical usage based on the information you provided, your electric account history and detailed answers to questions from the energy advisor.
Visual inspection of areas in your home (or business) that will assist the energy advisor in providing his expert efficiency advise.
Expert recommendations from the energy advisor that may improve the comfort and efficiency of your home. Following the energy audit, the energy advisor will provide a complete report showing the information that was discussed and his recommendations for energy efficient improvements. He will also note any current or potential health or safety concerns based on his observations.
