We all want to be connected, and internet access is more crucial now than ever. Staying home amid coronavirus concerns might be a tough task — especially if you have unreliable internet service or no internet connection at all. That’s why North Western Electric Cooperative teamed up with MetaLINK Technologies to turn its local parking lot into a free Wi-Fi hotspot to assist those in need of internet.
Parents, students, and anyone in need of internet is invited to park in NWEC’s front lot and connect to the co-op’s free, public network called “MetaLINK Hotspot” for a high-speed internet connection 24/7. The connection will be strongest on the east side of the lot (next to the hill area across from the office's front doors).
NWEC simply asks those using the Wi-Fi to stay in their vehicles. Don’t leave kids unattended in cars, especially as temperatures warm up.
The cooperative is located at the following address:
04125 State Route 576
Bryan, OH 43506
