Join us on Wednesday, September 16 as we head to scenic eastern Ohio to see the Buckeye Power Cardinal Power Plant in action. Located along the Ohio River, the coal-fired power plant supplies power to all the electric co-ops in the state of Ohio, including NWEC.
NWEC members, along with co-op members from Paulding Putnam Electric and Tricounty Rural Electric, will be sharing a charter bus for the one-day trip. The tour is FREE, but seats are limited.
The air-conditioned bus with restroom facilities will leave the Northtowne Mall parking lot in Defiance at 7:30 a.m. and will return around 8:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided prior to arriving at the plant. You are responsible for your evening meal (at a fast food restaurant). Bottled water will be available on the bus.

Seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
