We all want the communities that we live, work and play in to thrive, but not everyone has the time or the means to help. If you are one of our members who participates in the Operation Round Up program, you play a part just by rounding up your monthly payment amount.
For less than $1 every month, you are supporting those in need of assistance. It may not sound like much, but when we combined your change together with other co-op members, collectively, you put nearly $29,000 back into your communities in 2025!
Every cent collected through members’ monthly donations is placed into the North Western Electric Trust to be awarded to local charitable organizations and individuals in need, primarily in Williams and Defiance counties. Membership in NWEC is not required to request funds.
The Trust is a separate organization formed to oversee the accumulation and disbursement of the program’s funds. The Trust Board members are volunteers who manage the program.
The application deadline for the next review is Friday, March 13. Applications can be obtained by visiting www.nwec.com/operation-round-up or by contacting our office.
