Accepting Bids

North Western Electric Cooperative, Inc. is accepting six-year bids for the following:

UNDERGROUND TRENCHING - Per hour rate for each trenched foot to include digging, backfilling and backhoe work.
 

RIGHT-OF-WAY CLEARING AND TREE REMOVAL - Seven townships must be cleared each year. The bidder must be certified to work around high-voltage lines.

MOWING - Maintaining the grassy areas surrounding NWEC’s seven substations. Can be bid individually or as a group.
 

FARM GROUND LEASE - 8.3 acres of tillable ground adjacent to the NWEC facility.
 

All work will be primarily performed in Williams and Defiance counties beginning in 2027 and will continue through 2032. Bidders who are awarded each contract must submit proof of insurance. Additionally, those awarded underground trenching or right-of-way clearing/tree removal contracts must provide proof of workers’ compensation.
 

Contact the NWEC office at 419-636-5051 to request a bid packet containing detailed information. All bids must be received by Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 4 p.m.
